VJTI-TBI organized its first Business Pitch event to select the first batch of start-ups and entrepreneurs for Cohort-1 of the Incubation Program on October 6-7, 2019. About 47 teams shortlisted from a pool of 89 applications were invited to present their business plan before a panel of eminent Jury members. The shortlisted teams represented diverse domains including Energy, Clean-tech, Electric Vehicles, IoT, Cybersecurity, Fin-tech and Healthcare.
The Jury Panel included the following members:

The Jury Panel will recommend about 10-15 start-ups and entrepreneurs for consideration of incubation at VJTI-TBI, based on the quality of idea/prototype/product/service and other parameters including clarity of business plan, team structure, market fit and sustainability.
Certificate of Participation was given to all participating teams. The participants also appreciated the feedback from Jury Panel which helped them get more perspectives on the products/services being developed.
